With STANDARD IN GOLD, you don't just buy a blockchain. While this is common on other blockchains, we don't use this technology as a value in itself: we use it to securitize real-world assets.
In fact, with STANDARD IN GOLD, you buy real, physical, LBMA-certified gold and receive the corresponding coins as a certificate of ownership. Your gold is stored securely for you in our high-security warehouses.
For the sake of simplicity, we have created our stablecoins based on existing national fiat currencies and past European hard currencies.
With SOLID, you know exactly what you have: A SOLID is a certificate of ownership for 0.1 gram of 999.9 LBMA-certified gold. Every SOLID is linked to a specific gold bar—documented by serial number and individually accounted for. That means you own a defined share of a specific bar.
