The G-ATS is a value unit based on the former Austrian schilling (ATS), the national currency of Austria prior to the introduction of the euro. The reference value of the G-ATS was calculated using the ATS-to-euro conversion rate and fixed as of January 2024. One G-ATS represents documented ownership of 0.00098 grams of physical gold.

Each G-ATS corresponds to 0.00098 grams of an LBMA-certified ounce of gold, which is securely stored with our partner GVS Austria e.U.
When you acquire G-ATS, you acquire a clearly defined fractional share of physical gold. This ownership is digitally documented on the Gold Smart Chain in the form of a G-ATS unit, which serves solely as a certificate of ownership.
For every 31,736 G-ATS, you hold documented ownership of one full LBMA-certified ounce of gold.
You remain fully in control of your G-ATS at all times. Within the Gold Smart Chain, you may transfer your documented gold ownership to other users or use it for voluntary barter arrangements (for example, for goods or services), should you choose to do so.
At any time, you may return your G-ATS to us and request a buyback of the underlying physical gold. The payout is made based on the current dealer purchase price of the gold and transferred to an account specified by you. There is no minimum amount required for buyback.
The G-ATS can also be converted into other value units available on the Gold Smart Chain, always representing the same underlying physical gold ownership.
